Leslie Ramyk (she/her), a seasoned philanthropist and community advocate, has been a key figure in Chicago’s philanthropic landscape since 1996. Currently serving as a Board Member for Lighthouse Foundation, Leslie brings a wealth of experience and dedication. Based in West Rogers Park, Chicago, Leslie earned her BA and MA from Northwestern University. As the Executive Director at Conant Family Foundation since 2015, she has notably developed a participatory grantmaking program and co-founded the Chicago Racial Justice Pooled Fund. Leslie’s expertise includes excellent facilitation and fundraising skills, underscored by her role in directing the Chicago Community Organizing Capacity Building Initiative. Beyond her professional achievements, Leslie is a textile artist who creates abstract art quilts and volunteers with the Chicago Racial Justice Pooled Fund. She aims to shift decision-making power in family philanthropy towards those directly impacted by relevant issues and is enthusiastic about leveraging her extensive network and diverse skills to support Lighthouse Foundation’s growth and mission.
