Board Chair

Karlyn is an attorney, educator, writer, editor, speaker, parent, and the Board Chair of Lighthouse Foundation. By day, she works in legal education. She studied intellectual property and the law’s application to gender, sex, and sexuality, receiving national publication for her scholarship on copyright law.

Her non-legal writing has been published in Lady Science, Uncanny Magazine, The SFWA Bulletin, and small video games. She has been featured on NPR’s All Things Considered and as a recurring guest on WBEZ’s Reset.
